and it sucked the rest of the roll right up - about a third of a roll - as I stood there amazed and horrified while I watched and thought to myself, "TURN IT OFF, TURN IT OFF! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" So...the question is - How long does it take for a Dyson turbo vacuum to suck up a third of a roll of toilet paper? Whoever guesses the correct amount of seconds (or is nearest to the correct amount of seconds) in a comment will be in a drawing to win a handmade decorated wool toilet paper roll cover in the color of your choice! Giveaway winner will be announced Saturday, July 31st at 6:00PM EST so be sure to get your guess in before then.
And yes, the vacuum was fine but I did have to use some creative manipulation to empty the canister LOL - no sir that toilet paper wasn't just shaking out of the canister like the usual dirt and dog hair does LOL
YEAAAAAAAA!!! We have a winner. The answer was 3 seconds (which is longer than you might think - just try counting it out - one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand). And the Random Generator chose Bea. So Bea, I'll be emailing you to see what color wool toilet paper roll cover you'd like. Congratulations!!! Just what you've always wanted I'm sure!!! LOL
Untie a ribbon in your life – you might find an adventure!
LOL! Okay, I will give it a shot... what about 8 seconds???

(Newbie blogger of 2 weeks!)
ReplyDeleteWhen I first opened your blog I thought... toilet paper? Then I read it and I still have a smile on my face! My guess will be 4 seconds!
Take Care~ Sherry
I am just rolling in the floor over here, you have no idea how much I can relate as I just finished spending my ONE evening alone moving from cleaning the rugs to busting the den of the dust bunnies made of dog hair under my bed....you know, they multiply, and I think I heard them whispering about taking over last night as I drifted off to sleep. I'm guessing 5.8 seconds.
ReplyDeleteI've just come from Bea's blog. This is still making me smile as I imagine your face! What a bad Dyson! Oh I'll guess 6 seconds!
ReplyDeleteI think 3,5 seconds, would love see your face!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed! Mine doesn't begin to have that kind of power and its a big old thing. i am sure it would be dead right now if it ate that much toilet paper!
ReplyDeleteBecause you were surprised, I guess five seconds.
I saw a car wash/dog wash business in a small Minnesota own and I thought, I am going with that.
I am not sure if you just drive them on through with the roof down or how it works but anything that makes washing out two fu babies easier!
Loved your Walking in a Summer Wonderland, too!

ReplyDeleteHello from Texas! I'm a fellow Bloggerette Sorority Sister and just finally getting around to everyone's sites. Your post made me burst out laughing today! It remind me of "puppy times" with my scottish terrier. He would grab the toilet paper from the roll and run with it through the house. If the paper broke, he would go back for more. He did the same thing with yarn in a basket once!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday,
~Allie
What fun! My daughter has a Dyson and loves it too. Congrats to Bea!
